Nelly Korda (born July 28, 1998, in Bradenton, Florida) is an American professional golfer who competes on the LPGA Tour. Since turning professional in 2016, she has become one of the most dominant players in women's golf. Nelly has amassed 20 professional titles, including 15 LPGA Tour victories and two major championships. She made history with a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, becoming the first American woman to win individual Olympic gold in golf in more than a century.
Her golf journey is rooted in a family of elite athletes — her father was a Grand Slam tennis champion, her sister Jessica also plays on the LPGA Tour, and her brother Sebastian competes on the men's tennis circuit.
